2024-2025 Pledge2Success Scholarship Program

Are you a 2024 high school or GED graduate from Broward County?

If so, you may be eligible for a tuition-free Associate degree! Whether you are pursuing an Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree, you can potentially start your college journey without the burden of tuition and fees.

Benefits

Free tuition and fees, up to 75 credits, towards an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science or Associate of Applied Science degree program for up to 7 semesters.

Eligibility

• Graduate from any Broward County Public, Private, or Charter High School in 2024, be an eligible Broward County homeschool 2024 graduate, or Broward County resident who earned a GED in 2024
• Complete a 2024 - 2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with an annual adjusted gross income at or below $100,000.
• Submit a Florida Residency Declaration Form and qualify for Florida in-state tuition and fees.
• Submit a final, official high school transcript with the graduation date posted to the Office of the College Registrar.
• Attend New Student Orientation to register for Fall 2024 classes at Broward College.
• Maintain full-time status at Broward College (Earn 30 credits per academic year). Minimum of 12 credits - fall term; Minimum of 12 credits - spring term; Minimum of 6 credits - summer term.

How to Apply for the Pledge2Success Scholarship Program

All steps must be completed by August 1, 2024.

After submitting your application, please return to this page to proceed with Step 2.

If you've already applied or enrolled for Summer 2024 or Fall 2024, proceed to Step 2.

The next step now that you have applied to the College and received your BC username is to complete the Pledge2Success Scholarship Program form.

Once you have completed the pledge form, you will receive an email titled "Pledge2Success Scholarship Program Next Steps." This email will provide you with detailed instructions on fulfilling all the requirements for the scholarship.

Complete the FAFSA. The Broward College Federal Student Code is 001500.

Check myBC for any additional required documentation to finish the financial aid process.

Submit all documentation required to complete the pledge, including:

• Public/Charter School Students: Submit a final, official high school transcript with the graduation date posted.
• Homeschool Students: Submit a BC Homeschool Affidavit Form.
• Florida residency documentation.

Attend a New Student Orientation, and register for at least 12 credits for Fall 2024, in sessions 1, 2, 3, or 4. See the academic calendar for available session start dates.
